First few days in Exeter, England

Hey guys.

I'm back. Today I am going to talk about my time in Exeter so far. On Saturday/Sunday 26th February last I made the journey from Dublin to Bristol Airport. Then I was picked up and brought to live with my host family. I was very nervous I must say, but the family where lovely and still are. I must say I was so tired after all that travelling, the minute my head hit the pillow I passed out for a few hours. Even when I woke up, I was still tired. That evening we had a lovely Roast Dinner, and I learned that that is a very common English thing. After dinner, I watched some TV and talked to the family. I started to get home sick so my sister Face timed me and I felt much better. Then I headed off to bed and I had a good night’s sleep.

The next day (27th) I had to be up early as I had to get a Train to Torquay for a meeting with the training partnership, they just talked to us about what we can and can’t do and most of all told us to enjoy this experience. Then after that me and a few friends went for a walk and looked around Torquay, and we got food. It was a great day out with friends except the weather was cold.

The next day (28th) I got picked up from my house3 and I was brought to my work placement. I am doing my work placement in a place called Devon Disability Collective. It is a very big place I must say, but the people are very nice. I got a tour of the building and I got to meet the other workers. Then I was brought up-stairs to where I was going to be located. My job role that I have in creating a video and creating a shopping website for their Upholster Section. I think it will be a very nice task and I will be able to prove my knowledge I learned at college.

That's all for today, I’ll come back In a few more days with an update of how good England is going.

Bye for now.!!!
